Outside of the campaign, there are plenty of battles to partake in as you typically play a ground soldier attempting to fight off the opposing side.ĭid you know that you could play split-screen with this game as well? Unfortunately, it’s limited to offline so that may be a bit of a bummer for those wanting more of an action-packed competitive gameplay experience, but those that are still wanting to dive into two-player gameplay can do so within the Arcade mode.

Currently, the latest installment for this series is Star Wars Battlefront 2 and it’s what you would expect from these types of games. The Star Wars Battlefront series has been around for a while but it was during last-generation video game console platforms that the series got picked back up in a slight reboot. You’ll have to hack and slash your way through armies of enemies, flinging them up in the air and unleashing a flurry of combo hits. Again, you can often describe this game to the likes of Dynasty Warriors. With multiplayer, two players can go through the remaining missions together as they fight off countless enemies on the battlefield. To unlock co-op, you’ll need to progress through the first chapter, eventually opening up multiplayer. With this game, we went through the events leading up to the Honno-ji incident, which saw the betrayal of Oda Nobunaga, one of the great feudal lords.įortunately, you can go through the game with a friend, but there is a process. We had new designs and an all-new storyline. Developers essentially wanted a fresh start with the game. However, in 2021, the game series had a reboot installment with Samurai Warriors 5. It’s a hack and slash game, somewhat similar to the Dynasty Warriors franchise. Samurai Warriors first got started up back in 2004. With nine movies to play in that are “LEGO Style” you’ll have plenty of characters to be, abilities to use, and yes, collectibles to find. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is one that you’ll definitely want to play with friends because you have a long journey ahead of you in it. Because with its LARGE roster of characters you can have fun with, you and your friends can have a unique adventure in a ‘galaxy far, far away’ while not being made to feel as though your co-op gameplay doesn’t matter. The LEGO Star Wars franchise is secretly one of the better co-op franchises out there.
